A great win by the Killanardrish/Coachford under 11s today against a very determined Tramore Athletic. The Coachford boys, playing at home, Went a goal up after 15 minutes when Daniel Browne beautifully lobbed the ball over the defenders and goalkeeper. The game was a very tight affair for the remainder of the first half and most of the second half. With ten minutes to go in the game Tramore seemed to be getting the upper hand and the home side defence was coming under some unbelievable pressure. It looked like it was only going to be a matter of time before the city side were going to equalise however the local team refused to give in and in a breaking move and a wonderful combination between Colin McCarthy and Jack Moynihan the lads scored a second goal with only five minutes to play. This was a great display by the lads and a man of the match performance by Darragh Herlihy. Team – Tony Nowlan, Darragh Herlihy, Brian Dineen, Padraig O’Sullivan, Jack Moynihan, Mark Murphy, Brendan Harrington,Colin McCarthy,Sean Buckley and Daniel Browne. Scorers Daniel Browne and Jack Moynihan
