The Corkman Newspaper is reporting that Irish Water is investing €3.2 million in replacing old water mains in Coachford and other villages in Cork. The main issue in Coachford are the leakages in Monareagh between the end of Knockanowen and the Graveyard. This pipe replacement has been promised for some time and was expected early in 2015 however it’s better late than never and when completed will mean that residents and businesses in this area will have a steady and uninterrupted supply of water.
