The Coachford Autumn Festival vintage show takes place on Sunday August 16th. Owners of Classic, Vintage and Veteran Cars and Tractors are invited to Coachford to take part in the sixth annual show. The Coachford Vintage show has grown year on year since it first began in 2010. Over the years the organisers of the show, Broomhill Vintage Club have organised a celebration of the Fordson Major tractors and the Massey and Ford tractors and this year they are having a 40th Birthday Bash for the iconic Mark ll Ford Escort. One of the organisers, Peter Coughlan said, ” We have a great show planned again this year and we are getting a huge rang of vehicles coming to the event. The show is fast becoming one of the more popular shows on the Munster circuit. This is helped by the marvellous facilities we have at our disposal at the GAA Grounds and Sports pavilion in Coachford, the diverse range of cars and tractors, steam engines, old time threshing and a massive Auto Jumble. The show is also part of the Coachford Festival which has something for everyone, including children’s activities, a massive model Toy show and sheep racing. It promises to be a great day and we look forward to seeing all our old friend and meeting new ones at this year’ vintage show.”
