Chairperson of the Coachford Tidy Towns committee, Martha McCaffery said, “last year’s turning on of the lights was a tremendous success. There was a fabulous atmosphere in the village which continued over the whole Christmas period and into the new year. The lights were great, the tree was wonderful and the mini Christmas market was a lovely feature. Thanks to the money raised by the Community Association’s ‘Night at the Musicals’ and the very generous donation by Broomhill Vintage Club we are in a position of being able to purchase more lights for the village this year.
